Question About triple melee
hello
I was just thinking would it be a good idea to use a para instead of a necro for triple melee? I was just wondering because as a para you can bring Anthem of Flame and barbed spear for pressure. Wild Throw for a stance removal and also an elite like Cruel spear for spike damage or Empathic Removal for defense(or other elites such as Expel Hexes)

Paragons are okay, but necros can bring potentially better utility in my opinion. Enchantment removals, healing reduction, and some good hex pressure can go a longer way than just having a paragon without those capabilities. But I dunno... Let's see what everybody else thinks.

the answer to your question is that they do less pressure, have less armor, are way less mobile, have no self heal and no enchantment removal (or, if they do have it, it is much worse than strip enchants).
the YAA barbed signet bar with blood renewal is amazing in both split and 8v8 situtations, a paragon just cannot compare.

I don't feel like typing out a long post, but in short, yes paragons can compare. In either case you have to build team synergy not just expect to plop one character down that will fit everything perfectly.

People need to get over this idea that paragons cannot move around the map. They could do it even immediately post-Nightfall. It was just very inefficient to do so. But if you look at a modern Paragon bar, he (and the rest of the party) actually gain very little if he is with a lot of people as opposed to in a skirmish.
You're probably still better off with a necro if you're asking for advice on forums, though. Anyone who knows where a paragon will be better and how to implement it is well beyond public forums.

Pointing out paragons being situationally better is pretty irrelevant. I can point out an instance where a teleporting dervish with sin skills is better than a necro, but that doesn't mean I'd take the dervish.
